An agricultural school, the oldest in the Free State, was established here in 1918. Tweespruit is also the home of renowned South African artist, Father Frans Claerhout, and guests are welcome to visit his farm studio and the Claerhout Gallery in town. At the Tweespruit Co-operative Dairy Museum visitors can view machinery and equipment of the Creamery. The old agricultural school buildings were designed by Sir Herbert Baker.
